Fantastic article, with a very daetiled and informative report on Sunday’s happenings. I thought Frank asaingt Fulham did well and so maybe not out as form as many seem to feel. He played for longer than expected asaingt Fulham and so, just like the majority of players from that game, they were rested. I also think that the Valencia game was on AVB’s mind as well as I am sure he will feature. Torres scored a great goal and was heavily involved in the second and IMO he felt that this was going to be a good day. Contact or not, he dived in and for me it was an exuberant strikers challenge; but one that fully deserved a red card. I am certain if a Swansea player had done that asaingt Torres, we would all have been calling for a red..? Overall, another good performance but not as good as the one asaingt Manu but in view of only having 10 menn, very satisfying. Good morale boost for Wednesday and clearly progress is being made. The continuity of midweek games is bringing the benefit of getting used to the demands of AVB and getting a better understanding of how the new guys play and move and generally fit into the team. My confidence in the season continues to grow and seeing as Torres has being trying so hard to impress, possibly too much at times, I think an enforced 3 week break may not be the worst thing for him, especially as he can continue to play in the CL. The return of a refreshed and confident Torres fills me with great expectation. KTBFFH

If Bassong was worth a315 million, Nexcastle United wudlon’t have been relegated. I’d say Spain is the best overall team in the world. There bcslaaily a combination of Real Madrid and Barcelona followed by many other spanish stars. Everyone on the team is amazing, they have 3 goalies (Casillas, Valdes and Reina) and Valdes and Reina are treated as reserves.

they didnt get a new manager alutacly they have had arsene wenger for over 12 years now but the reak reason why they arent doing very well is because they sold two of their best players Nasri who went to play for the mighty man city and Fabregas who played for the even mightier barcelona but they might be relegated this season who knows its the premier league anthing can happen.

Torres is really ginettg sharper. His touch is better. His shots are more accurate and very clean strikes usually now. With Drogba gone for the ACON, Torres is ginettg alot more confident knowing he has the full 90 mins to show his class. When Drogba starts and plays bad, he gets the full 90 but if it is Torres he’ll only get an hour. The manager must have given Torres assurance of his position and this has given him alot of confidence. His over head kick attempt show his confidence growing. Now I think we must get a winger in this window, my money is on Hazard. And I think we should let go of Malouda (his poor performances, his moaning and he deserves to get more games with another club) and Drogba (his poor performances, his wage bill and the pressure he puts on Torres which usually ends up with both of them performing bad) in this window. Even keep Kalou as a super sub till atleast the Summer. We should wait until the Summer for the big changes and the other big signings. With Cahill and Hazard in and Drogba, Malouda, Alex and Anelka out our games squad could look a little like this.
